At Infinite Minds Elementary School, our Governance Board plays a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and long-term success of our school. As stewards of our mission, our board members are committed to ensuring that every decision reflects our values, upholds accountability, and centers the brilliance of the students and families we serve.

What We Do

The Infinite Minds Governance Board provides:

 

  • Strategic Oversight: Ensuring our mission, vision, and goals remain the focus of all decisions.

  • Financial Stewardship: Overseeing budgets, funding, and fiscal sustainability.

  • Accountability: Monitoring academic performance and operational excellence in compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards.

  • Community Engagement: Representing the voice of the families and community we serve.

Dr. Collette Portis

Chairwoman of the Board

Dr. Collette Portis is an award-winning business strategist, educator, and nonprofit leader with over 30 years of experience helping organizations build sustainable, agile, and profitable operations. With a doctorate in Transformational Leadership in Education, an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities, and a Master’s in Curriculum Design & Adult Learning, she brings deep expertise in K–12 and higher education, leadership development, and strategic planning. As a founding board member of Infinite Minds, Dr. Portis is passionate about empowering students and families through culturally responsive, community-rooted education.

Norie Pride-Womack

Vice Chair of the Board

Norie Pride-Womack is a seasoned education executive with extensive experience leading charter school operations and strategy. As a former Chief Operating Officer for a Texas-based charter network, she has overseen school launches, compliance systems, and cross-functional teams with a focus on equity, efficiency, and student-centered practices. Known for her calm leadership and systems expertise, Norie brings a deep commitment to ensuring all students have access to high-quality learning environments that reflect their communities and unlock their potential.

Nicholas Threlkeld

Board Treasurer

Nick Threlkeld is a seasoned operations and performance strategist with over 15 years of experience in workforce development and financial leadership. As Director of Performance & Strategic Optimization at Equus Workforce Solutions, he oversees multimillion-dollar contracts and leads initiatives that improve efficiency, impact, and equity. With a background in finance and a passion for systems that serve communities, Nick brings valuable expertise to support the growth and sustainability of Infinite Minds.

Courtney Godwin

Board Secretary

Courtney Godwin brings over two decades of service-oriented leadership to the Infinite Minds board, with a professional background that spans real estate, healthcare, and military service. A U.S. Air Force veteran and former laboratory technician with nearly 16 years at Quest Diagnostics, Courtney is known for her discipline, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Today, she serves Texas families as a licensed REALTOR®, combining her passion for community engagement with a sharp eye for detail. As Board Secretary, Courtney ensures clear communication and operational accountability in support of the Infinite Minds mission.

Dr. Terrance Bryant

Board Member

Dr. Terrance Bryant is a technology strategist, entrepreneur, and purpose-driven innovator with over 20 years of experience leading digital transformation across healthcare, education, and enterprise systems. He is the Founder and CEO of Enovara, a full-service technology firm dedicated to aligning systems, people, and purpose through automation, AI, and operational optimization. Named Fort Worth’s Technology Innovator of the Year, Dr. Bryant brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and technical expertise to his work. His commitment to innovation with integrity makes him a valuable voice in building a future-ready, equity-centered learning environment at Infinite Minds.

Tania Askins

Board Member

Tania Askins is a veteran public finance professional with over two decades of experience advising municipalities on large-scale infrastructure and education projects. As Managing Director at Hilltop Securities, she leads complex investment strategies that support community growth across Texas. Tania holds degrees from SMU and Johns Hopkins SAIS, and brings a strong commitment to financial stewardship and equitable access to quality education.

Denise de la Rosa

Board Member

Denise de la Rosa is a nationally recognized education leader with more than 15 years of experience in instructional leadership, school design, and talent development. As Senior Partner of Content Development for National Programs at Relay Graduate School of Education, Denise designs and delivers transformational learning experiences for school and district leaders across the country. Her career spans leadership roles at IDEA Public Schools, Uplift Education, and the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education, where she has coached hundreds of educators and shaped leadership pipelines that center equity and student success.
